What is the dining discount card thing called? The one that gives 20% off dining at most restaurants? Anyone have it? Love it? Hate it? Recommend it? We are at the parks every other week or so and will be there for vacation for a few days next month and in January. Would we be better served getting the dining discount card or the DDP??

Well, it was the Disney Dining Experience until someone had the bright idea of renaming Tables in Wonderland....:confused3

We have it and love it!!! We've been six times this year for multiple days each time and have saved enough we could buy all of us an AP with the savings!!! It is easy to use and gets great discounts!!! We did the DDP first and may do it again depending on the type of restaurants we want to go to but for every day use, the DDE (yes, I still can't call it TIW!!) is for us!!!

its going to be the DDE card for me too.....I have always said that name and it will be to hard to change my brain......We love it and will have three visits under our belt on our next vacation. I wish we lived close and could go often. It is definitely worth it for us. I dont think that I would go for the DDP option as we can dictate where we go and what we eat and get the 20 percent off...Even at ALL Star resorts or Pop CEntury or even Port Orleans French Quarter......there are plenty of places to use it besides the sit down restaurants. IT does come in handy when we eat at the ts though.....

Love it, hate the name.

If you're local or semi-local and you are in the parks that much, and eat table service, it'll be worth it.

Even going just three times in 13 months, it's more than paid for itself---plus the valet parking perk is nice.

(I call it the BOB---the Break On Booze---card, because he 20% applies to alcohol too!)

Well, I am totally convinced that it is a must have for us. I will be purchasing it today. What is the valet parking perk, I must now. Is it the same as the DVC members perk - free valet at a couple of the resorts...Are there any pretty popular restaurants that it isn't good at? We love the Biergarten, San Angel, Crystal Palace...

We bought ours in March of 08 and have used it more times than we can count, for us it is a great savings since we normally tip 20-25%

Stupid question but can I purchase the Tables of Wonderland prior to leaving. I just bought my Annual Pass and will pick it up next week at Will Call so, how do I get the Tables of Wonderland purchased?

Thanks....

I purchased mine when I activated my AP voucher when I got to the park. I went to Guest Relations outside the MK and got my AP and purchased the DDE card.

THANKS!!!! I was having a heart attack thinking I had to order this via mail. So, I'm SO glad I can purchase when I activate my AP voucher... :goodvibes

I'm sticking with DDE. A company as creative as Disney should have been able to come up with a better name than tables in wonderland.

We've had the card for a few years now and its paid for itself in only one or two dinners. For example, if you pay $60 for the card, but it gets you a 20% discount you break even after you've spent $300. A party of 4 going to dinner at a signature restaurant can easily do that in one meal.
