Okay, so I am in the process of planning a long stay at the world in Sept. I'm getting my fl annual pass next month and saw that I could get the tiw for an extra membership. I can't find the price anywhere. I'm trying to decide if I should get that or go for the ddp.
Tia!

For Annual Passholders it is $75. We prefer the Tables in Wonderland over the DDP. It allows to get what we want as far as appetizer or drinks. Normally we do not eat dessert so that goes to waste on the DDP.

It really depends on your individual dining style and preferences. Like the previous poster, we absolutely prefer TIW. But you might want to consider the following:

1) Do you have pre-teen or teen "Disney adults?" We have three children, but two are pre-teen "Disney adults." The dining plans costs far more than the cost of the food they would actually order and eat. One is relatively adventurous, but orders appetizers and soup, while the other orders exclusively from the kids' menu.

2) Do you always order entrees?
I order appetizers instead of entrees almost everywhere. So the dining plan wouldn't work for me.

3) How many ADRs do you have per day? How many are signatures? We have two ADRs per day - that's kind of in between the DP and the DxDP. And although we book lots of signatures, neither our two pre-teens nor I order full entrees, so the math doesn't work there, either.

4) Do you order dessert? We rarely eat dessert with TS meals, so the dessert on the dining plan is wasted.

5) Do you order wine/beer? TIW discounts wine and beer, but the dining plan does not include it.

So I'd suggest that you roughly map out the ADRs you would make, look at the menus on allears, decide what you're likely to order, and compare the price of DP and TIW. Good luck with your decision!

Thanks guys. I'm going either solo or possibly with my mom.
I'm not sure about where I want to eat (we used to do just day trips and last time we stayed a week it was off site) so I've been trying to check out menus. I love food, and I can eat a ton of it.

I guess I'm trying to figure out if the $75 is worth it. Does it last a whole year? If I get my Ap now, can i add it on later?

we usually order the AP voucher and validate it when we arrive in Disney...Then we purchase the TIW card....it is good for a whole year. ALSO where do you plan on staying..
the Value resorts, and Port Orlean French Quarter are included in the CS ones..So we saved a good deal of money for the mornings we had breakfast there ...and snacks and lunches...

We also go more then once a year...so lets say we activate it in May 8th area ...we are good until the next year...but we may go the week before that time expires and we got two visits
