Tables in Wonderland...getting drinks to walk around with

Hi. We are considering TIW. We like to have a drink while we walk around the park late afternoon/happy hour. To my understanding TIW discount is only applicable on TS restaurants. Can anyone share if they just suck it up and pay full price at the kiosks or if there are any restaurants that are not too time consuming to purchase a "to go" drink to walk around with?

Lounges such as Tune-In Lounge at DHS and Nomad Lounge at AK do to-go drinks and take TiW. Just head to the bar and order a drink.

There's no drinking in MK outside TS restaurants. Rose and Crown Pub is the only bar at Epcot I can think of. Here's the official list:

I’ve used the TiW to get a beer To go at the ESPN Club on the boardwalk and then entered Epcot.

I had a few waitresses/bartenders gleefully tell me I could order another glass of wine/beer to go when I asked for my check. This was at Sci Fi AND Territory Lounge. I'm sure they have been trained on ways to increase sales.

I totally forgot about it until you posted this. I did like having my wine to go, but it did seem a little pushy in the moment.

I'd suggest the Brown Derby lounge for drinks to go, Tune In can be a madhouse getting anywhere near the bar.

TiW is good at most of the counter service places in AK, so technically you can grab a beer at Flame Tree (etc.) and still get your 20% off.

Ooh, I didn't know that you can order drinks to go from a restaurant's bar. Do they all allow that? Esp those restaurants in Epcot?
