Tables in Wonderland card at Teppan Edo

We purchased the Tables in Wonderland card and have received 20% discounts at restaurants throughout WDW. My family had dinner at Teppan Edo in Japan and was surprised to learn when paying the bill that the Tables in Wonderland card is not accepted at that restaurant. The next day I went to Guest Services for a list of the restaurants and sure enough Teppan Edo was probably the only restaurant I could tell in all of WDW that was not included. Does anyone know why one restaurant would be excluded?

Teppon Edo, to my knowledge, is not own and operated by Disney. As such, they can op out of TiW and even the DDP if they wished to.

Yes...but only at lunch, on weekdays.

What the above poster said is true - the company that runs Teppan Edo has chosen not to accept TIW there. They have chosen to accept it for Tokyo Dining (same company runs both if I am not mistaken). They also accept Disney Dining Plan in both locations.

La Cava del Tequila also does not accept TIW. They're run by the same company that runs San Angel Inn, but while the restaurant accepts it they've chosen not to accept it at the bar.

Forgive me for waking an old thread, but I'm also trying to figure out where Tables in Wonderland is not accepted.

If I'm not mistaken, Bongo's Cuban Cafe and Paradiso 37 now do accept TiW.

Earl of Sandwich, Ghirardelli, Pollo Campero/Bodie's All American, Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex and Yak & Yeti do not accept TiW, but do offer Annual Passholder discounts. (Earl of sandwich saves 10% on non-alcohol regularly-priced food. Ghirardelli saves 10% on any purchase. Pollo Campero/Brodie's save 20% on non-alcohol regularly-priced food, but for the passholder only. Rainforest and T-Rex save 10% on regularly priced lunch and dinner entrees. Table service Yak & Yeti, but not quick service, saves 10% on regularly priced lunch and dinner entrées.)

House of Blues does accept TiW, except not for Sunday Brunch. However the wording for Annual Passholders implies that they should save 20% for Sunday brunch. ("Save 20% on food and non-alcoholic beverages daily in the restaurant prior to 4:00 p.m. Save 10% on food and non-alcoholic beverages after 4:00 p.m. Valid for the Passholder and up to 5 Guests.")

Big River Grille and Brewing Works does not seem to accept either discount, however this review from 2011 disagrees.

Teppan Edo does not accept TiW and limits the 10% Annual Passholder discount to lunch only, Monday through Friday only, regularly priced food and non-alcoholic beverages, certain holidays excluded.

Is it no longer accepted at Paridso? I used the card there for a party of 22 (yes I know its up to 10 but we were able to use it when I asked) and had hundreds of dollars taken off our bill. We were there with my ds baseball team.

I planned on going back to Paridso end of August with my mom.

Note that this thread is three years old. At the time it was posted, Paradiso did not accept Tables in Wonderland. It does now. Yak & Yeti, T-Rex and the Rainforest Cafes still don't, because the Landry restaurants still choose not to accept it. Teppan Edo still doesn't accept it.

You can, however, add La Hacienda de San Angel to restaurants that don't accept TIW.
