How does using the card there work since you have to prepay? Do they issue you a refund on your credit card after you dine there? Has anyone ever done this for breakfast? Thank you.

The TIW discount will only be on the food portion and not the photos. Our cc was reimbursed at the end of our dinner.

I just called in advance when I booked the ADR and they gave me the discount then. You can probably call before you leave and have them credit the amound back to you before you even set foot in MK.

They have always just taken my TIW card and issued us a refund for the discount amount. No worries.

I'm assuming the gratuity is removed from the discounted portion as well? Since it is a package deal, I'm assuming there is no way for us to know how much they actually charged for the food? I'm just wondering how much will be discounted.

I can't find my receipt anymore, but I know it just listed a flat amount per person with the TIW already deducted, then the total amount we paid for all of us. It wasn't broken down by food, photo, tax etc. Knowing how much we paid with TIW vs how much it would have been without TIW, it was close enough to 20% that I didn't spend time to figure out the exact numbers.

Have you seen Cheshire Figment's example of how the TIW discount is calculated on meals? Just so you know gratuity is calculated on the full amount, tax on the discounted amount. See post 2 on this link:
