Tables and Centerpieces

Im trying to keep the cost down in this area but its too much hassle to take my own centrepieces.

Im having my reception in the Asbury room at the yacht club, does anyone have any pics of table linens or centerpieces? any info or pics would be so helpful!
 
I don't have anypics sorry but there are many thing you can do like tall glass cylanders or bowls filled w/ floating candles and a flower or ytwo with rose petals sprinkled around and votives(disney can do all this for a fraction of floral arrangement prices)...I am sure others will have some ideas

We were supposed to be in the Asbury and moved to the Cape Cod about a month ahead of time. There are certain linens that the Yacht and Beach Club will provide free of charge. These are the "resort standard linens". I am fairly sure you have the options of black and white linens at no cost. From the floral department, you can pretty much pick and choose any color you so desire.

The standard chairs at the Yacht/Beach Club are a red and blue. They're aren't the prettiest of things. I don't know what your color scheme is, but chair covers are a good way to go to "hide them"! There was a photo on Wishbook some time ago in the "Reception Locations" and "Standard" photos of the tables.

I am also certain the standard centerpieces are pillars with floating candles. There is a photo on Wishbook... well, there was. That includes the pillars (three, I believe) and the candles, not anything extra. There was a ring of flowers in the photo, and it is mentioned in the "Details" tab that it is extra.

If you check our wedding photos here. We had the standard black and white linens on the table at no cost. We had floral centerpieces and chair covers through the floral department.

Please, please, please let your florsit know your concerns. They are very willing to help and work within your budget. They can make amazing things happen, but they need to know your expectations and the budget they need to be done within. Remember also, if you are having flowers in the WP, they can be moved to the reception hall for a $100.00 change fee.

Edit 2: Found them! Go to Wishbook. Go to Reception Locations. Click on Yacht Club. Click on "Standard table styles" for the Yacht Club. Viola!
 
thanks! im not so keen on the chairs as im having a cream,gold and pink theme. I'll wait till my SM is back from Maternity leave and then i'll ask her!
 

You could go with the covers in a cream and have them tied off with a pink and/or champagne ribbon. Or, with your colors, the chivari chairs might be beautiful. The chair rentals are about $15/chair. Between $7-$12 comes to mind for the chair covers. Either option would certainly give the room a sparkle and crisp, clean, uniform look. Very elegant.
 
Hey there...
I saw some stuff on ebay you could use.
I remember this guy was selling these large glass etched vases wth mickey & minnie etched into the glass. They were beautiful. They could be used a take home favors too. Like $20 each. I am sure he would lower the price for multiple purchases. Nevertheless, definitely check on ebay for ideas.
