Tablemates... or not?

We will be cruising as a party of 8... will we have tablemates? or have a table all to ourselves??? With our crazy kids, I doubt anyone would want to sit with us! LOL

With a party of eight your chances are pretty good for being assigned a table all to yourselves. However, they do have tables that hold up to 12 so there is still a chance that you could end up with tablemates.

If you would rather not have tablemates give Disney a call and put in a request....Last time we requested a table for just the 3 of us and got it and on our next one we requested a table for 4..I would be very upset if I got there and found out we have to share a table with others the whole cruise.

We requested on multiple occasions a table by ourselves(we were a party of 5) When we got to dinner the first night, the table was set for 8.

My guess is that 8 will be alone though. The larger tables looked like they were created especially large families. The people all arrived together and seemed to all know each other....didn't look like a couple of groups thrown together.

We'll be a party of 9 (all relatives) on our cruise in December, and we wouldn't mind having additional tablemates. However, we would all have a great deal of sympathy for the poor souls who would have to sit with us!

I bet you will be dining by yourselves...
I like to have table mates though, it makes dinner interesting, and we have never had bad tablemates before, they have always been enjoyable!

I agree with Favorite Auntie. We are a party of 9 and have always had a table to ourselves on our Disney (and other cruise ships) cruises. HTH
