We have an ADR booked at O'hanas for next week for 9 (4 adults, 5 kids including 1 infant). Does anyone know what table size they would give us for a party this size or in general what size tables they have at O'hanas? We want to add an extra 2 adults for a total of 11 but when we called they couldn't do it so we are toying with the idea of just showing up with the extra 2 - any thoughts or similar experience at O'hanas?

We were there last year with 10 people (6a/3c/1infant). They sat us at 2 large round tables next to each other. It would have been easy to add one more to that. If it were me, I would just show up with the extra people and hope for the best. We've tried adding people to our ADRs before (not at 'Ohana, though), and we told Ok, but the wait would be longer. Good luck!

This happened to us at 1900 Park Fare. My grandparents decided to join us the week before we left for DD's 7th birthday. Everytime I called they said it could not be done. We just showed up with the 2 extra people and they fit them in no problem. We did not even have to wait longer! :goodvibes
It will probably be just fine, IMO.

We had a party of 11 and were seated at a table that consisted of three tables pushed together. They had definitely set it up ahead of time, along with several other tables for large parties in the same area. It might be hard for them to accomodate extra people without advance notice. But, if they're saying no to adding people... :confused3 I dunno what to tell you.

1) Disney is getting wise to the "but, they decided to join us" trick.
2) With free DDP, people can't always get the ADR they want.
3) SO, they under-count to get a table.
4) Then, they show up with "unexpected" additions.
5) In a team meeting, CM's have been told to warn people against this.
6) Sure, if there is room, WDW will not turn away revenue.
7) But, if busy (as they are now), they will turn away the additions.

8) Go ahead any arrive with the extras, if you like.
9) Just be prepared to have someone stand around while you eat.
