Table service with the messy little ones

Would I be frowned upon if I use the cloth napkin and tie it around the baby's neck as a bib? You know like they sing in "Be Our Guest" in Beauty and the Beast It will be much easier than carrying bibs around, of course it won't work for quick serve or a snack, but anything to help cut down on the stuff I lug around.

Nobody complains when I tie MY napkin around my neck as a bib, so I don't see why they would worry about your wee one!

Maybe I need to start doing this Larryz, I find it hard to finish a meal without some sort of stain on me I have never seen anyone do this, but you may have just inspired me.

I don't think anyone would complain. We usually just buy a box of the Pampers Bibsters and carry 2 or 3 with us. They are very thin, but absorbant and I believe the last ones I had even had a pocket thing on the front to catch anything that missed their mouth. And they are disposable, so we just left it after the meal.

THat is a great idea for our counters and snacks, did not even think of that.

Better than tie, maybe, would be to carry a couple of really big safety pins.
