We are planning a quick adult only get-a-way from June 10th to the 13th. We have two reservations already, but since this is kind of a more relaxed trip I dis-like the idea of making a lot of reservations.

What are the chances that O'Hana (breakfast or dinner) and/or Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch/dinner) will have walk-up availability in June?

I would guess approaching zero for ohana (maybe breakfast, not sure about that one) but I have gotten into liberty tree for lunch with no ADR before.

You can try and snag a day of/night before ressie at O'hana as they do open up occassionally. However, it is next to impossible to get a walk up. You will have a long wait and sometimes they don't guarantee that they can get you in. Liberty Tree will be a toss up. But they rarely take walk ups. But again, same day/night before ressies will be your best friend. The resort restaurants outside of O'hana and Whispering Canyon are your best bets for walk ups.

'Ohana will be almost impossible for a walk up. If you choose to look the day before you may find an opening.

LTT is another that you may need to check the day before. It is in park, so folks tend to book that one ahead as well.

I can't say for June specifically (we avoid the summer), but we are a family of two and can often get a ressie the night before. It changes minute by minute, so just keep looking. We have had some successes just walking up, but I definitely prefer stalking the ADRs. You may even have some luck picking up something someone here on the DIS is dropping.

I've been able to get some hard to get reservations thanks to fellow DISers!

I agree LTT would be a somewhat safer bet and that lunch might be the easier of the two meals. But don't set your heart on it. We prefer spontaneity on our trips as well with regard to meals, but we do make ADR's for meals we really don't want to miss. However, if you have a "back-up" plan and won't be too disappointed, go for it.

I think both would be very difficult as walk-ups. We travel at a much slower time of year and even LTT usually has CM's standing out on the porch telling people there is no availability. I agree that finding ADR's the night before would be your best bet.

I am going June 4-12. I have an Ohana ADR for June 10 breakfast. I have been trying to switch to an earlier time either that day or 2 other days. Nothing is available.

I don't think you'll have any luck with Ohana for breakfast, even with an ADR it seems like we always wait.

We went to Ohana last August. We planned ahead and had an ADR. A family ahead of us in line did not have an ADR and were turned away. I assumed the restaurant was packed, but it was half empty. I don't know if they were short staffed or just stick to a no ADR no table for you policy.
Several years ago (before I knew ADRs existed) we were looking for somewhere to eat dinner at the MK. We walked into LTT and had to wait about 40 minutes but got a table. Even considering that, I have seen other people turned away there if they don't have an ADR. I think it might depend on who's running the show at the check-in desk with walk-ups. I suggest, as other posters have, keep trying for an ADR or prepare to be disappointed. Who knows, you might get some pixie dust ;)
