Table service take away

I know there are a limited number of table service restaurants that have “to go” mobile order service (eg Sanaa to go). Has anyone tried placing an order to take away, with restaurants not listed in that category? For example, could I go to GF Cafe and place an order to take back to my room?

I’ve ordered food to-go at the bar at Narcoosees and took it back to my room. That’s the only time I’ve done it so I can’t speak on other restaurants.

We're hoping to do this at Sanaa, when we stay at AK. We figured since most of the food is curry it won't get "soggy" like other types of take away food (curry microwaves very well!).

But I'm curious as to if anyone else has done this at Sanaa, specifically. We're holding a 9:10 pm dinner res on our arrival day but it would be MUCH nicer to grab food earlier and hang out in the room.

I’ve done it twice at Sanaa. They advertise that they have a food to go option. Both time s went well.
