After looking at all the yummy food pictures here on the DIS, I have decided that I must try creme brulee on my next trip. However, none of the table service restaurants that I plan to make ADR's at have creme brulee (Mama Melrose, Biergarten, Ohana). I let DH help pick out the restaurants. We are kinda on a budget since this is my 2nd trip already this year.

My question is, would it be okay to make an ADR for a table service restaurant, such as Le Cellier or Spoodles, to just order dessert??? Has anyone done this and was the waiter okay with it?
I've done it here where I live, but I've never made reservations. Most restaurants here you can just walk in or they don't take reservations. Anyway, I was wondering what yall would have to say....

Even better is there a counter service restaurant that serves creme brulee?

Sunshine Seasons in the Land had a Soarin' creme brulee last I knew. Not quite as nice as some of the TS creme brulees, but better than the banana one at Kona (which had way too much uncarmelized sugar on top).

I think if you try to make an ADR just for dessert, you won't be successful. If you make an ADR, then happen to just order dessert, I think you will be successful. If you choose to go without ADRs, Citricos in the Grand Floridian has a really good creme brulee, and because it's 2TS on the DDP, I think you wouldn't have a problem walking up.

not sure about making an adr/walking up for a table service, but if you are looking for a decent creme brulee, the bakery in france in epcot has a really good one. surprisingly good, actually.

I might have to check this out again. I recently made all of our ADR's for October and did not care to use our TS for the primetime, but wanted to take my two sisters there because of the decor. I asked when I made the reservation if we could just have a dessert and they said yes. The time is early afternoon, I think.

Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks guys! I may just try Sunshine Seasons or the Bakery in France. That way I won't have to waste a lot of time in a restaurant and I can just get it to go one night. I hope to one day get in on the free dining and eat all the creme brulee I can possibly eat!
