If you like Japanese cuisine Kimonos in the Swan is excellent. Doesn’t take reservations, walk in only. We have never waited.

Be aware, after 9:30pm Karaoke starts.

Outside of Spice Road, everything else will be hit or miss.
If you are willing to eat at non prime times, you odds go way up.
However, if you are hoping to dine at prime times, be prepared to wait, if they are taking walk ups at all.

By checking the app a bit I noticed a lot of places that are "impossible to get" were showing up. I even saw a Space 220 one evening.

Perhaps Disney getting rid of the dining plan has helped.

Anyway, for Disney Springs restaurants, there also are reservations on Open Table you can get.

Epcot area.. Topolino’s, Flying Fish, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Rose and Crown
MK area.. Skipper’s, Grand Fla. Cafe, Citrico‘s, Kona
DS.. Homecomin‘, Morimoto’s
AK area.. Boma, Jiko, Sanaa

The Swan and Dolphin restaurants usually have last minute reservations available and a short waitlist. Il Mulino, Shula's Steakhouse, and BlueZoo.

Jungle Skipper Canteen, Grand Floridian Cafe, Kona Cafe, and most Disney Springs restaurants all have walk up availability, but the waitlist length can vary a lot.
