Hi all,

We supposed to land in Orlando (Southwest) at 5:20pm and we are planning on 2 hours to get to the hotel and settled in (checked in anyway) - is this enough time to plan on taking to get from the airport to our room?

We would like to have a TS meal that evening on that Wednesday night.

Menu isn't as important as the restaurant staying open later to accommodate us.

If you were us, where would you dine?

Thanks in advance

I think 2 hours is a decent time budget assuming that you don't wait for a long time at the airport for your transportation.

Where are you staying?

I don't think you'll have a problem with the restaurant hours. Are you going to a park that night?

You could eat at any of the restaurants around Crescent Lake (Boardwalk, Swan and Dolphin, Yacht and Beach Club). If you are depending on Disney transportation, it might be easiest to take buses between ASM and Hollywood Studios and then take friendship boats. There are many, many options. Otherwise, I'd head over to Downtown Disney and eat over there. Also, many many options.

Swan and Dolphin restaurants are not on the dining plan. But they also can give you an away-from-the-madness way to get started on your vacation. You also cannot book them using the ADR system, you have to reserve them directly. The upside is that it is usually much easier to get reservations, particularly last-minute.

Does the bus go from ASm to Downtown Disney?

We are going in October and our flight gets in at 6pm (staying at POP) I think I am going to make adr's at planet hollywood if they still take ressies. Something for like 9pm. But I may decide to just eat at the resort and relax that night, get unpacked and get up early for rope drop the next day and mnsshp! Gonna be a long, long day that day!

book the fantasmic dinner package(if theres a show that day of course),dhs is quite crowded when theres fantasmic in the evening and this way you can go to dhs on a non fantasmic day.If there isn't try cirque du soleil(yes i know its expensive)
