Table service credits used as counter service?

I don't know if anyone will know the answer to this, but we have read conflicting answers to this question. Can you use unused table service credits for counter service or can they only be used as for table service? Thanks for any help to this question

The answers you are getting are conflicting because at this time there is no official rule on the regular dining plan that says you can or cannot do this. So some restaurants or even some individual cashiers may allow it, and some may not. Most reports are that the best luck is had at resort CS.

Deluxe dining plan credits are always fully interchangeable for either CS or TS.

Thank you..we will try at our resort. If it does not work it doesn't work, oh well it is worth a try anyway!

I have always had good luck using TS for CS at Main St. Bakery and at resorts.

I have called disney twice to ask this question and was told by both that once your counter service credits aer gone then you can use remaining tableservice credits at a counter service and that the we can use them right at the counter service restaurants...we do not need to 'trade them in' at the resort

We are wondering the same thing. Right now we are booked at POFQ in Nov with the QSDP. But heard about free dinning coming out on Wed, but we would have to book the SDP to get free dinning. but only want 2 sit downs for a weel long trip so it mite not be worth it if we can't use table service credits for quick service. thanks for any info

Unfortunately, you were speaking with CMs at a call center and their information isn't always accurate. People have often been able to use TS credits at the resort food courts and at the Main Street Bakery in the MK. However, many more people have reported on the disboard that other CS places in the parks would not allow it. Since there's no written policy saying it is allowed, I would ask before ordering and just hope that the cashier will sprinkle a little pixie dust and allow it, but don't be surprised if they say no, especially in the parks.

This is the entire reason we are staying at a value again. We wanted to stay at a moderate but the RDP just don't work for us. We go for 10 days and we have 2 ts meals one Tuskers for breakfest and the other t-rex. I feel like disney should let you choose which plan no matter where you are staying during FD.

They let you upgrade when staying in a value. I wish you could downgrade when staying at a mod or deluxe.

I've seen ppl. do it at Cosmic Rays without a problem in the last few years, but it's always been during free dining-not sure if that makes a difference. We've been able to use it at ASMo and Pop food court, and also the Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary without any issues. We've also always been able to exchange 1 CS meal for 3 snacks at all of these places as well.
