I am wanting to name my tables instead of numbering them. I need help with ideas of what to name them though. Here are a few of my ideas, please help with some more (they don't have to be Disney related)

1. Places that are important to us (but we'd end up with everything from buzz lightyear (the ride we were working when we met) to Myrtle Beach)

2. Disney couples

3. Disney characters

4. Shades of green (haha!!!! I threw this in as a joke to my mom and wedding planner, but there are some really pretty names for green. I thought it would be funny since my color is sage and I'm getting married at SOG!)

Any input is appreciated! Thanks

The SoG is cute! We did Disney couples and I really liked how it turned out. We had a silhouette artist and my colors were purple, so Shelley did "silhouettes" in purple of the couples...

Disney couples/characters seems to be a popular choice because there is so much to choose from. I also like the idea of naming your tables based on places that are important to you!

Here are some more examples of the Disney Couples:

Those are really pretty!

DF and I decided on Disney resorts! So i'm going to have a Contemporary table, a Grand Floridan Table...ect. Whatever you decide to do it'll be awesome and mean something to you!:thumbsup2

We haven't done ours yet, but we're doing little known characters. It's going to be a game. The first 3 couples/families to get all the movies will get a prize.

So far we know:
Kids table: Boo from Monster's Inc (an easy one for kids)
Sweetheart Table:Mickey & Minnie
Table 1: Kaa from Jungle Book
Guestbook table: Max (Goofy's son)

we're still working on the rest of the list

You could name each table a land from MK and then theme the decorations accordingly.

We had an at home wedding in December. We had exactly twelve tables, so I thought of using the 12 Days of Christmas as our table names.

i think the shades of green idea is really cute! for our table names i was thinking of doing places we've been to together since we have traveled a bit (not that original, i know). the disney couples idea is cute too.

Wow! Very nice!

We're doing Disney couples for our tables. I had thought about naming them after different lands in MK and different parks but decided to go with the couples.

Wow! Tiggerrificheidi and jacqu3lin3 those are beautiful! I love them. Those pictures are making me want to go with Disney couples! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas. I'm still debating, but leaning towards the Disney couples!

Originally, we wanted to do places that have been really important to us in our life as a couple, so we had: Paris (where we got engaged), Prague (our first summer abroad together), Miami (where we went to college), New York City (where we live now), Fantasmic (our first 'forevers'), Wishes (our first 'I love yous'), and EPCOT (way too many memories to count).

However, after see that Wall-E and Eve couple one, I REALLY want that for my sweetheart table!!! :confused3

All of the disney couples are so cute!!! However I like the shades of green just because its so original and kind of fun. Non-disney people might not get it at first then think its really cool.

we plan on using Disney movie titles and have each table sort of themed around that movie. with centerpieces and coordinating colored linens.... we picked movies we liked and sort of fit for our guests. Good luck:goodvibes
here are the some of the table cards/table names....

We did building names from our college campuses since that is where we met. What if you did different rides throughout the parks?

We did Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs because it's my favourite movie and the numbers worked perfectly. Head table was Snow White and the rest were all the dwarfs. They kind of looked like cast member name tags.

You can see one of the table cards in this pic...

Do you have more pictures of the couples in this style?

How about Disney love stories...or even famous love stories. Each card can have a picture of the couple and then a few words describing the love story.

I am having a small escape wedding so I am not having tables but if I was I always thought it would be cute to write the word LOVE in different languages (probably corresponding with the countries in EPCOT) LOL
