Hello! Ok...since it is just a couple of days for the 180 day advanced reservation date for our honeymoon :bounce: ...I am trying to finalize where we want reservations to eat and I need some advice :confused3 . We have purchased the dining plan with our package, so we are getting 6 table service meals a piece. We already have used 2 a piece for the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Review our first night there. Now we are left with 4 table meals a piece...I have narrowed our list down a lot, but there it is still pretty long :sad2: . Will you all take a look at it and give me some suggestions please? Also, we can probably afford a couple or meals ourselves without the plan and a couple of places are also listed in Birnbaum's as snack or as having other meals that we just can't use any of our dining plan meals with, so please give suggestions...the only time either of us have been to Disney was with our high school bands for a couple of days.

Possible restaurants:

1.) Liberty Tree Tavern (Magic Kingdom-Liberty Square) [Lunch]
2.) Tony's Town Square (Magic Kingdom-Main Street) [Lunch, Dinner]
3.) Coral Reef (Epcot-Future World) [Lunch, Dinner] ***2 meals(signature)***
4.) La Cellier Steakhouse (Epcot-World Showcase-Canada) [Lunch, Dinner]
5.) Les Chefs De France (Epcot-World Showcase-France) [Lunch, Dinner]
6.) L'Originale Alfredo Di Roma Ristorante (Epcot-World Showcase-Italy) [Lunch, Dinner]
7.) Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki Dining Rooms (Epcot-World Showcase-Japan) [Lunch, Dinner]
8.) San Angel Inn (Epcot-World Showcase-Mexico) [Lunch, Dinner]
9.) 50's Prime Time Cafe (MGM) [Lunch, Dinner]
10.) Hollywood & Vine (MGM) [Dinner]
11.) Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater (MGM) [Lunch, Dinner]
12.) Boma (Animal Kingdom Lodge *Where we are staying*) [Breakfast, Dinner]
13.) ESPN Club (Boardwalk) [Lunch, Dinner]
14.) Chef Mickey's (Contemporary) [Breakfast, Dinner (characters at both)]
15.) Concourse Steakhouse (Contemporary) [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]
16.) Maya Grill (Coronado Springs) [Breakfast, Dinner]
17.) 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) [Breakfast (characters Mary Poppins and friends), Dinner (characters Cinderella and others)]
18.) 'Ohana (Polynesian) [Breakfast (characters), Dinner]
19.) Boatwright's Dining Mill (Port Orleans Riverside) [Breakfast, Dinner]

I would say Le Cellier and Boma would be your best bets. Great food, and great atmosphere for both. We actually visited Boma 3x and Cellier 2x, so you know they were great. Make sure to make priority seating reservations for both - they were very busy at all times last week.

I also went on my honeymoon a few years back. My suggestion would be to pay Hoop-de-due oop and use your tables services for resturants you order meals so you have a fixed budget. If you are looking for a romantic place book California Grille about an hour before the Wishes fireworks go off and tell them its your honeymoon and request seats by the window. It is unbeliveable to watch while having a nice meal. We also ate at Lecellier, Chef Mickey's ( must eat once with the mouse), Spoodles at Boardwalk, Wolfgang Puck's, The Italian Place at Epcot (name slips my mind), Hoop De Due, Hollywood and Vine ( Fantasmic Package),Crystal Palace. They were all great. Enjoy yourself

As crazy as this sounds, one of the most romantic experiences we had was at CRT for breakfast! We did it on our first day and to be in the castle which is so beautiful overlooking Fantasyland was a great start. They seated us at a two-seater right in front of glass stained window overlooking Fantasyland. Apparently this is the honeymoon table! All of the princesses were gushing over us and we even got free champagne flutes!

My favorites are Le Cellier, 50's, Chefs de France and LTT....if you're going to do Boma for breakfast, or any other buffet for that matter, I would pay for those out of pocket because you'll get more for your money using the DP at other TS places. From your list, I'd stay away from Tony's and Sci Fi...we did not have good experiences there....have fun and congratulations!

I would have to go with:

Dinner- Le Cellier and California Grill
Lunch-Concourse Steakhouse.
Breakfast- 1900 Park Fare.

Le Cellier & Boma are our top favorites! Boma is great for brunch or dinner! Hollywood & Vine was good, we did the Fantasmic Package! Good Luck! :thumbsup2

We also went for our honeymoon and I would suggest also paying out of pocket for the Hoop. We loved Le Cellier, California Grill, and breakfast with Pooh at Crystal Palace.

I would say at some point eat at Boma. I think the food was great and had a good variety and very yummy desserts.

Have you considered Jiko at AKL? We found it to be expensive, yes, but absolutely delicious, and the ambience was great (nice selection of wines, too!).

We liked LeCellier, and Chef Mickey's is good for a basic breakfast buffet (we didn't like the dinner much) and great character interaction. We had a great time at 50's Prime Time Cafe, too, and I think they'd treat you wonderfully since you'll be on your honeymoon. Don't forget to mention that when you make your reservations!! :) I haven't tried O'Hana, although it's on our list for next time, but Kona cafe in the Poly is really good, too.

Congratulations, and have a great time!!

I would suggest Le Cellier, Boma, Chef Mickeys (gotta have a character breakfast!), and Ohana out of your choices.
Some of our faves are Crystal Palace, California Grill and Fultons Crab House.
:)

Definatly be sure to mention that it is your honeymoon when you book your ADR. We enjoyed several nice surprises at our meals when we were there for our honeymoon. Cinderella's royal table was one of the most special meals...the food was not the best...but the table was the best in the room and the champage flutes were an awesome surprise. California Grill with a viewing of Wishes was also a high point.

We got engaged at the California Grill and return every trip-last I checked, it was 2 credits, but our meal would have cost more than $175.00 and it was worth every penny-the best food at WDW. Flying Fish, Crystal Palace, Boma, Concorse Steak House-yum!
