Hello all,

Are there any restraunts in Disney that can seat a party this size and possible have our group in a separate room? We are getting married and want to do some sort of rehearsal dinner.

Thanks
Jason

california grill and citricos i know for certain. i think jiko does as well but cannot remember for certain. depending on what you want to spend i'm sure disney can hook you up with something unexpected as well. disney weddings may be able to help or give you ideas as could calling dining reservations. even if you're not ready to book they should be able to give you options of places to consider. on these boards i'd check out the threads about weddings. you'll probably find more of what you're looking for. and congratulations.

I think Coral Reef also has a smaller room for private functions. I think Disney tends to be flexible about/willing to do private events...as long as you're willing to pay!

Call Disney's main switchboard at 407-824-2222 during "normal business hours" and ask for group sales and catering.

And if you want it to actually be in a restaurant (and not a specialized function room) you need to make your arrangements at least seven months out so the reservations will be blocked off from the regular reservations system.

If you look on the Disney Weddings web site, you can do a search and filter the places that will allow you to have a rehearsal dinner. It shows photos, descriptions and approx. number it will hold. I don't believe you have to be having all wedding festivities there in order to do just a rehearsal. We are looking at Tusker House for our rehearsal :thumbsup2

There are tonnes of options call your wedding planner and they can help you find something in your budget and will be awesome. Our Wedding Planner gave us tonnes of ideas she in fact suggested the breakfast / brunch option and organized everything for us.

We had 40 at ours and decided to have a welcome / rehearsal brunch at 1900 Park Fare there were a lot of kids and we wanted characters lol There is a Pack room at 1900 Park Fare that is separate from the main dining room. We didn't end up getting this room but were seated all together in a grouping of about 5 tables. Our ADR was 11am so the restaurant was pretty empty and we had tonnes of Character time.

Everyone was really happy with the food and the characters. It was a little out of the ordinary but very memorable and still talked about 5 years later. We went this route mainly for budget and we wanted to include everyone who came down for the wedding (Were from Canada) it worked out perfect as we had our rehearsal at 8am then had breakfast @ 11 and then pretty much everyone spent the afternoon relaxing by the pool @ Corando.

Also I know you cant reserve space at Ariels in the Beach Club thru DFTW as well Raglan Road in DTD and Bluezoo in the Swan or Dolphin have private rooms and can help arrange a nice dinner. I think you need to talk to them directly though :)

Restaurants in the Swan/Dolphin have rooms designed for groups of various sizes as well as group menus (assuming you don't want use the regular menu.)

If you're not going through Disney weddings to arrange your dinner, you will need to call Group Dining for a party that size. They will give you the options you have, as we don't know how soon your trip is.
