I am a DVC member and can book dining through our member services on a freephone number and as I live in the UK I prefer to do this.
Today I phoned up for a table for 9 guests at Whispering Canyon on 15th October which is 180 days in advance. I was told the only table available was at 9.40 p.m.
As we are travelling with three families and it is two of the children's birthdays on that day I thought it was too late. I was most upset as this has been planned for over a year and I am sure I phoned early enough. I asked if they could put two tables together and was told no. I am planning to order a cake and balloons.
I had to phone Disney Dining separately to book a V&A ADR and whilst on asked again just in case for a table for 9 on 15th October and was told no problem any time I liked. I queried that they may have to put two tables together and was again told not to worry.
Has anyone else been to WC and had a large table and was it ok when you got there?
Many thanks as I am now worried we will be split up when arriving.
Susan
