Morning everyone! I'm needing some advice. I'm hoping to book today with free dining. But I'm trying to decide what TA to go through or if I should just book with Disney myself. Any suggestions? What did all of guys do?

I'm also a AAA member so there is that route. I just dont know how familiar my TA there is with Disney

I've never used a TA. I either book online or call. I like to have control of my reservation.
But there are good Disney TA's - a lot of people here use Dreams Unlimited and have been happy with them.

I use a TA, yes even though I live here. Her personalized attention is great.
Google Fairytale Dreams and Destinations. :) The specific agent I use is Christine. Her agency specializes in Disney.

I prefer to handle my own arrangements - just me - but a TA has never been a very valuable asset to me on a WDW trip. (I have done it enough myself to feel comfortable)

I use SueEllen @Dreams Unlimited and she has been great. She was even mentioned in the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World. I use to book all trips myself, but, like on Monday, I didn't have to get up and get on the phone to add FD to my trip. All I had to do was check my e-mail and it was done. I take care of everything else, i.e. ADR.

I like using DU to book my trip, but I have been playing around with the Disney page and it is $200 cheaper to book through them than the quote I got from DU, so I guess I will book myself :confused3

Just make sure that you use a TA that really knows Disney, not just one that is a "Disney Specialist". A good TA can be your best asset. An unknowledgable TA can be your worst nightmare. DU seems to get high marks on these boards.

I'm sure Dreams would not cost more ....

I have planned 3 WDW trips on my own and have booked directly
thru Disney--it is very easy.
I love to be able to have the control of my own vacation.
I just educate myself on what things cost, where to stay,
what to do and just book it.
