TA made car ressie, flight time has changed

When we booked our airfare for our Feb trip way back when, our TA made our car ressie for our original arrival time but we've been moved way up with our flight. She assures me that the price won't change since she "hooked" the reservation with our flight. Does this seem right? I know that if I booked the ressie and made modifications the price will change.

she is incorrect. Hooking just gives the car rental company your arrival time, it does not lock in rates. If she modified your rental to match the new times/dates, and rates did not change you are fine.

Your rate may or may not change depending on how big of a change you have and if it affects # of rental days, extra hour charges, etc.

check with the car company directly.
