The Crew
Tony .Driver and general gofer
Theresa .Scrapbook shopper extraordinaire
Peggy (my mum) ..Ill go on anything as long as its not upside down.
Zena (my aunt) .Ditto
We were up by 7.00. Showered, had toast, yogurt and tea for breakfast then made a few phone calls home to let everyone know we had arrived safety before leaving for Animal Kingdom and arriving at 9.00.
It was actually very busy with wait times at 50-60 mins for the main attractions.
We used Fast Pass a lot but had to keep criss-crossing the park .
We did Pangani Forest trail, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Jungle Trek, Primeval Whirl ( Zena said she nearly wet herself on that one!) , Dinosaur and . EXPEDITION EVEREST!!!!!!!
Theresa and I couldnt believe we got them to go on it. Our faces on the ride picture were so funny we had to buy it.
We also did The Festival of the Lion King, Kali River rapids and Its tough to be a bug which turned out to be their favourite show of the whole trip.
We had an ADR for Yak and Yeti for 12.00 but as we were all hungry we got there early and managed to get a table at 11.30. Zena had the Chicken Salad which turned out to be huge. The rest of us went for the Crispy Honey Chicken which was very nice again. We shared two lots of Cream Cheese Wontons for dessert. All very nice and well worth a visit if youre hungry.
After Animal Kingdom we went back to the Sheraton and had a swim and a soak in the hot tub with live music playing in the background. Its Five Oclock Somewhere and Wastin away again just reminded us of Matt and Debs. Cant even get away from the DIS by the pool..
We got changed and went for our 7.35 ADR at Boma.
The first timers had another WOW moment when we walked into the lobby.
We tried lots of different things and I managed to get the last portion of my favourite Chicken Curry.
The Bill was $120 including tip and using our DDE card.
After Boma we made a quick stop at Wal-Mart for a few pressies and the usual headache tablets we always buy as theyre cheaper in the States, before going back home.
