T Shirts

This year I want to get in the spirit of personalised T Shirts for the family. However I have the artistic talent of - well I dont have any!! Anyone have any ideas how I can go about this without costing a fortune.

Tie-dyeing is easy enough - messy but fun!! and there are some instructions and pictures on here for tie-dyed t-shirts which look cool.

Or you could use fabric paints & print out a template (there is one that you could use for the tie-dyeing) to draw round and then colour in with fabric paints / pens and then, if you wanted, self sticky diamonte's?

Im going to embroider some for us for next trip - not designed them yet but have disney designs on my embroidery machine so will make something that way!!

I plan on doing t-shirts too and there is a lady on the US creative thread that made me a mickey minnie star wars picture which I will get printed onto t-shirts. Both Tesco and Asda do these.

You can also buy this stuff called Image Magic or Image Maker and you print your picture out, then place it on your t-shirt and rub this stuff all over it and it transfers the print to the t-shirt.

Or you can buy transfer paper in a pack of about 10 sheets and using clipart and just typing make up a Word document type thing with your design (or if you have Photoshop or I-Photo you can be a bit more creative) then print that out onto the transfers and then you just iron them onto the t-shirt - they work quite well as well.
