T rex

We are going in August and my kids LOVE the T Rex in downtown. Do they take advance reservations? And if they do, do we put a deposit?
I have never made dining reservations. Only one time about 8 years ago and I don't remember. Thanks

Hi - Yes you can make advance reservations for T-Rex. There is no deposit required and no penalty for cancellations.
To make a reservation go to:
www.disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_GB
you will see a place near the top of the page that says "WHERE TO EAT". Click on that and then click on "Make a Dining Reservation". A new page will pop up and you will see a place to put in date, time, and number of people dining. There is also a place to type in the restaurant name. Then click on "Search for a Table". You will see the times that a table for a party your size is available; click on the one that you like, and you've made your reservation. Take note of your reservation # & you're done.
You can also call 1-407-WDW-DINE and a CM will make the reservation for you.

You may find you have better luck contacting T-Rex directly for a reservation (their number is (407) 828-8739). We could not get a reservation for our Christmas trip when trying to book via the Disney Dining website, but had no problem getting our exact date and time when we called.

No deposit is needed. They don't even take a credit card to guarantee the reservation.

Call the restaurant directly. Trex only releases a few tables to Disney. Call them and you should have your pick of times and you give them you last name. Your last name is the confirmation number so to speak!
