We loved the food and the atmosphere, I also love the atmosphere at Rain Forest but thought the food was WAY better at Trex..I shared a chicken sandwhich with DD and DH had the most amazing Chicken Fried Steak, and I dont even like chicken fried steak normally but it was cooked perfectly, meat was tender and season perfectly while the outside was crisp..Mash potatos were even great, oh and the volcano cake OMG! cant wait to go back for our ADR in Sept

Last year my sister and her fiance bravely volunteered to take DS for a light meal while DH and I (and fiance's mom) went to the Earl of Sandwich. DS absolutely adored the whole experience, and they were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. DS confirmed that it is kind of loud, if a lot of fun for anyone who likes dinosaurs.

Went there last year, me, my wife, 3 dd's (ages 2 thru 7) as well as friends of ours with their 2 boys (ages 4 to 7) and they loved it. The food was pretty good. It is pretty much the dinosaur version of the Rainforest Cafe.

The only issue we had was it was really loud in there, I was yelling to talk to my friend. Otherwise the wait wasn't long, we didn't even have a reservation, just walked up. Nice atmosphere and alot of dino's to look at. Enjoy

I think that night will be one of the boys' favorite....Chef Mickey for b'fast, waterpark, Trex making a Dino at Build a Dino, then to DTD for some shopping. The boy are obsessed with LEGOs and will love going to the LEgo store.

The Lego Store is fantastic! My son (14) still gets excited to go there. If you have the chance try picking up one of the pick you pieces set. If you haven't done it before, you fill a bucket with any of the pieces on the wall of open Legos. It's a great way to get a lot of really neat Lego pieces you wouldn't normally get. Our son gets one every time we head to WDW.

T-Rex is one of our favorites! We visit every trip. One of the best things about it is that it's open later than pretty much anywhere else in Disney (usually 11 or 12) - we love going there after the parks are closed. We've never been there earlier in the evening, but anytime after 10 you don't need a reservation. We get the full rack of ribs to split. It comes with two sides, so we each pick one that we want. It's still a ton of food! They do have a really cool gift shop too.

Although the scenes were very cool in T-Rex the food wasn't all that great. The boys did, however, love making their dinos.

I forgot to mention: I saw several people mention that you should try to sit in the Ice Caves. They are really neat, but true to the theme - they do make it colder in there. If you're cold natured, it might not be a bad idea to have a sweater or something. I know it sounds silly in Florida, but I think I'd freeze if we got put in that section.

We also love TREX and have been there twice - once on each of our trips. We have another ADR scheduled for our next trip and it's always a highlight for my DS. It can be a bit loud in there but we love the theming and the food is pretty decent. It's a bit pricey - but what isn't? I also just cashed in some mypoints for a $25 gift card that we plan on using for our meal there and like others have confirmed, it does state it can be used at TREX.

If you have dino lovers in the family, they'll LOVE it!
