We ate at T-Rex for the first time on 12/15 and both my husband and I enjoyed it more than RFC (food and themeing).
Yes it was quite loud and chaotic and kids were everywhere (including walking on the wall behind our table to get to the stegosaurus that was right next to us) and while that was annoying we didn't let it ruin our meal. I really tip my hat to all of the servers & bus staff trying to manuever around everyone - I don't have that kind of patience!
As far as the food, we both really enjoyed our meals. My husband had the ribs - which as someone else mentioned they were fall of the bone good. I had the fried shrimp with the waffle fries and enjoyed them. They were butterflied and in more of a beer batter than your typically breaded shrimp batter.
We used a gift card for our visit, so pricing wasn't a big deal but I don't know if we would eat there again without a gift card (for us it came up to over $60 without tip for just 1 soda, 2 entrees and a side salad).
Hope that helps!!
