No. TRex is not a Disney owned restaurant. It is a Landrys restaurant.

I was there earlier in the month. We felt the food and overall experience was well worth paying out of pocket for. We had no problems with it being crowded. Call the restaurant directly for reservations.

Booking through Disney, I thought it was the hardest place to get a reservation. All of December was booked!
But I took advice from this board and called Trex directly had no trouble getting a reservation, you can pretty well pick any day or time you want.

We charged our meal to our room last December. No experience with paying room charge with disney gift card, but I have read about people doing that. It was a very fun and yummy meal.
