Hi all. With the weather not looking great for Thursday I have rearranged our plans a little so my carefully scheduled meals and FPs no longer line up as I'd like. Today we are now going to universal for most of the day but we have a T Rex adr at 5.30pm and FPs at MK from 7.30pm onwards. We are staying at Beach Club and have a rental car so we will drive to Universal and I expect to be done in time to go back there and catch a bus to Disney Springs, unless it makes more sense to drive there? Then what is the best way to MK? We won't stay for Wishes as we've seen it already this stay. Thanks

Take a bus to the Grand Floridian, then hop on the monorail upstairs for a very short ride to MK.

It might be quicker to just take your rental car to Disney Springs to get to MK after you're done eating. There's no direct buses from DS to the parks. So if you don't have your car you'll want to take a bus to one of the MK monorail resorts and either take the monorail to MK or go to Contemporary/Bay Lake and just walk over

I would take a bus from Disney Springs to the Contemporary and then walk over to the Magic Kingdom.

They just started direct service from parks to Disney Springs this week.

But that is one way from the parks to DS. OP is trying to get from DS to a park. There is no direct bus in that case.

If it's raining or looks like it would be raining, I would probably aim for a bus to any resort that monorails over to WDW. It's a knee high river to get from the bus to security when it's raining at MK. monorail won't be much better but at least it's closer.. be prepared for wet feet just trying to get into the park..

If it's not raining, I'd probably aim for contemporary and then walk or switch to monorail if the weather has shifted.

If you go back to BC to park, I would bus or uber to DS and then bus to GF or Poly to catch the monorail. If it isn't raining, also consider a bus to CR and walk to MK. Personally, I would hop on whichever bus came first!

If you drive to DS, I would then drive to TTC to go to MK. No way would I want to bus to MK, bus back to DS and then drive back to BC at the end of the night. Too much transport IMHO.

Not gonna lie, I thought you were going to ride a T Rex to the Magic Kingdom. I was like, "Whoa, Disney does that now?!"

Haha I thought that they were moving T-Rex to Magic Kingdom. It would have been better than the Skipper Canteen.

Thanks all. We are back from Universal already, it was really quiet, got on Gringotts at 10am with a 5 minute wait! So did all we wanted and back to BC. Think we will get the bus to DS then on to Contemp or GF whichever appears first.

There's no covered walkway from the Poly bus stop to the lobby. GF or CR will keep you drier when it's raining.
