I actually have a reservation for T-rex for a lunch during the middle of our stay. it was the ONLY one available and i was lucky to get it, actually. There is nothing available now at any point. I've read the food isn't that great, but I have 2 DS (5 & 6) that are huge Dino fans... so I really wanted to do this. My question is.... how likely are we to get a table without reservations on a Saturday evening say around 4/5? (basically on arrival) anyone else with a past experience on this? thanks!

my reservation is at 11 am which cuts into prime park time - that's why I want to be able to do dinner here one night we aren't already at a park (i.e. arrival night). We are staying at the CBR so it won't be a big deal getting there, but it will waste a whole morning eating lunch here on a planned park day. We wouldn't have time to do anything that morning with an 11 am reservation.

Call T-Rex directly and I think you will be pleasantly surprised how easy it is to get a reservation for a time that will work best for your family.

As far as the food - its not gourmet but its filling and tasty, its over priced but you are paying for the experience. Dinosaur loving boys will be in heaven, or that's what my 5 year old nephew told me in April :)

Thanks! I'll give it a try. That would help out tons. I'm not worried about the price - we've got the DDP. Might not do it again, but they roped us in this time ;)

Wow! Had zero problem getting the reservation! thanks again for the suggestion!

Happy to be a help have fun. If the kids like stuffed animals the build a dino shop is fun too.
