First let me apologize for those of you who like food porn, I just can't take pictures of what I eat!
I had made reservations to T-Rex by phone back in the middle of January. The reservations were for 7pm June 8th, we arrived at 6:35pm, went up to the hostess to let her know that we had arrived. The young lady gave us a slip and told us to stand in the next line and someone would come and direct us to our table. The whole process took maybe 6 minutes tops!
The waiter asked if we'de been there before, he also made some suggestions and told us about the metor shower every 20 minutes. Our party was made up of 2 (12) and 2 adults.
I had the frozen Mojito (different but in a pleasant way) and the boys had the frozen slushie in the keepsake bone plastic glass. We ordered the double dip (Queso and the Artichoke/Shrimp dips). Both were served with fresh multi colored tortilla chips, the queso dip was absolutely fabulous, but the Shrimp and Artichoke had a bit of a sour taste and it didn't quite come together. Next time I would order only Queso Dip.
We had the French Onion Soup and it was quite good. Two of us had the Chicken Pot Pie, really really good but huge, we should have shared it. The Pot Pie is made with their rotiserrie chicken breast, in a rich creamy sauce with little pearl onions, carrot slices, mushrooms and peas, topped with a big dome of puff pastry.
One of the boys had the Mahi/Mahi dinner and asked for it plain grilled rather than coated with panko and sweet/sour sauce and it came perfectly grilled, I had a bite and it was flavorfull and perfectly cooked.
We wanted to try the desserts but we were too stuffed to even think about it.
T-Rex, we would definitively do again and I didn't find the price range to be out of line, quite similar to most Disney Dining restaurants. People have mentioned that it was very noisy but not more so than Le Cellier, Wolfgang Pucks etc. I think that they are all pretty noisy!
