T-Rex question

I am planning to take my boys to T-Rex while we are in Disney in Sept., but I have read some reviews where some kids (and adults) were really disappointed because they went expecting the action and got seated in the "coral" room where you cannot see the dinosaurs or the meteor showers. My question is this: if they try to seat us in the "coral" room, can I ask to be seated elsewhere? Also, I saw on another thread that there is a direct number for the restaurant to make ressies so you don't have to do so through WDW-DINE, but I can't for the life of me find it. Does anyone know where I saw this, or have I gone completely insane from overplanning?

Ok... first off the Coral Room.... we sat on the edge of the Coral Room when I went last December and I have to say we loved it. I don't think you could miss the meteor shower no matter where you sit. Some of the places will be more open than others but you can even see the action from the gift shop. I think you will be safe. You can request it when you check in but they cannot guarantee it.
The direct number is 407-828-8739. You can make ressies directly or through Disney Dining.

You always have the right to say you want a different table, no matter what restaurant you're in. You may have to wait longer, but why settle for something less than what you want. You're the one paying the bill; you get a say in these things.
