T-Rex/Magic Band/Dining Plan Question

I took the advice of reserving our T-Rex dinner directly through the restaurant which worked beautifully.....but now I'm questioning now if my Dining plan credit will cover this reservation. It's obviously not showing on my My Disney Experience. Anyone know if this will work? Will it just register once they scan my magic band? Thanks

Yes, your dining plan will cover your meal. We did the same thing in December. Booked it last minute through the restaurant itself. It was great, the Grandkids loved it and we all enjoyed our meals. A lot of food.
