Much like most restaurants, that is going to be highly dependent on how busy the restaurant is when you arrive, and how willing you are to wait for the table you want if it IS busy (or if certain sections aren't open due to staffing). As the wife of a career restaurant worker, I'd just add for posterity that it's best NOT to assume you can get the exact table you want even if it *appears* a section is completely empty (there may be a good reason for that) - but the hosts are super accommodating in any way they CAN be when asked nicely :)

Would never assume that’s why I’m asking :)
And as a college student I worked retail i know the benefits of being nice lol

definitely - wasn't directed at you per se but just something that needs to be said occasionally as a reminder for the masses :)

Cant hurt to ask! I would think it's like most restaurants you might have to wait a bit longer for the table you want but if it's worth it to you it's worth the wait - good luck!

In T-Rex, it would be hard to sit somewhere and NOT be near a dinosaur. We've been all over the place and some "Something-a-saurus" is always nearby.

Agreed.

To us it seems it’s Herbivore room, Carnivore room, and ice room (I don’t know if there are dinos in there). And frankly, sitting a tad away from a dino makes it easier to see the dino. If you’re close enough to hear the animatronic sounds it kinda ruins it for some.

But calling ahead isn’t needed. Tell them when you get there, and try to not be overwhelmingly hungry when you arrive just in case you have to wait a bit.
