I recall reading a while ago that T-Rex had really good appetizers that were large enough to make a meal out of. I'm considering ordering an appetizer to save room for a "Strike it Rich" Sundae at Ghiradelli's :rotfl:

Also, would anyone know if the kid's meals are large enough to share between two kids? I saw a photo of the kid's pizza and it looked quite large, but you can never really tell in a photo.

the ribs are incredible. I went first time in Oct and had them as an appetizer...I plan to go again and order them as a bigger serving/meal.

caution this place is loud..great experience but not much talking for couples

My DH had.....
Footprints flatbread - Warm Flatbread topped with Cheddar, Mozzarella, Parmesan and Goat cheese, rotisserie Chicken and carmelized onions, drizzled with a balsamic glaze - $13.99

He had it as his main meal and loved it.

I had Asteroid French Onion soup - Tradtional Sherry based onion soup baked with a large crouton and bubbling swiss cheese - $6.99

This was a very good onion soup. Not enough for me to make a main dinner meal out of.

We had the Melalosaurus Mozzarella as our appetizer and everyone loved it. I had the T-Rexadillas (without the chicken) as my entree and thought it was very good and big enough to share. :)

My 15 year old often orders a kid's meal and it is plenty for her, so I think that if your children are younger and not really big eaters that one meal could work for two kids. (Especially if you get a dessert that they can enjoy as well.)
