I am planning my son's 3rd birthday at Disney. I can't decide between T-Rex or Rainforest. I have no idea about menu or atmosphere. There will be 7 of us including my son. Please help!

You can go to Rainforest Cafe anywhere. I would do T-Rex. That's just my opinion. I'm sure it'll be great anywhere. Happy Birthday!

I've never been to Rainforest Cafe, but I love love love T-Rex!!!

Both can be a little scary for a 3 year old but I think T Rex is a little more kid friendly. Rainforest has animals and a thunderstorm every 30 minutes. T Rex has dinosaurs but a comet storm every 30 minutes. T Rex also has a build a bear but with dinosaurs, so plan on buying one with an outfit. T Rex also seems to have a more kid friendly menu.

This is a tough one actually. My ds (now a teen) loved Rainforest, it just seems more "immersion" to me, I mean the SIGHTS SOUNDS. thunder, the rain, walking around to see all the animals and the live fish tank....if lucky seeing the live parrot show outside....T Rex we tried last trip and we did very much enjoy it. But we were placed kinda in an outside area and the only thing we "saw" was the fake ceiling with dino's :confused3, and some lights changing in a nearby room....SO,
I guess I would say Rainforest!
BY the way, same owning company, food good, typical overpriced vacation menu. I personally LOVED the salad I had at T Rex, ds had a burger and it was yummy!
Good Luck deciding, I thing either is F U N for a child (or a child at heart! ;))
** I forgot that comet thing....but still like RF better!

They are both great, my kids would probably say go with T-Rex.

You might already know, but just an FYI, neither RFC or T-Rex are on the Disney Dining Plan.

I think I would recomend T-Rex as it was a lot more fun, the food seemed a little better too.

Thanks everyone. You've been very helpful. I think we'll go with T-Rex!!!
