Hellooooooo Disney Vets,

I'm a first timer heading over to WDW in June. How is T-Mobile's phone reception there? Any dead areas?

Thanks!

Hey there...
I also have T mobile and its funny I get better reception at Disney than I do at home!!!
Seems to be dead areas at the resorts in the rooms at times but I just left my phone on the table and it was fine... had to talk outside a few times but not bad!

I use my T-Mobile there on a regular basis. No problem.

I was there last summer with T-Mobile and don't remember any problems with service areas. For example, I took the monorail from MK to Epcot and chatted with my mom (who was at home in PA) the whole way there. I might have lost reception once, but to me, that's not too bad! Anywho, coverage seems fine. Plus, if you have a newer phone, that'll help a bit too.

I use my T-mobile when I go and I have not had any problems. It sure helps and saves money that we don't have to use the hotel and pay phones to check in back home. princess:

Thanks for responding! Now I know we'll be covered at the parks when we split up (when I run for the fastpasses or when my family wants to ride different rides). :cool1:

We just got back on 3/7/06 and all of us had TMobile phones and they had great reception everywhere we were - even in our room!

great reception. Don't forget you can use the coverage check at Tmobile.com to look for any dead spots that might be there.

We have T-Mobile Family Share and the only problem we had was inside our first floor All-Stars room and inside some Attraction Buildings. Lots of steel and concrete, you know, but you don't need your phone in an attraction anyway :)
