I've seen a couple threads regarding phone reception at WDW and was wondering if anyone has used T-Mobile service??

Last year I had AT&T Wireless and it worked fine, but this year I have T-Mobile nationwide and I want to make sure I'll get good reception before I get there.

Thanks for the help!
;) :D ,

I used T-mobile in June and had pretty good service. Just remember to fully recharge your battery

We have T-Mobile and it works great. I have called home right from MK. This is the reason why we have T-Mobile. No roaming fees. So I can call FL or in FL and calling home anytime within my minutes and it would be covered.

Some parks were better than others, but there were definately times we had no signal at all of the parks. Had no signal at CBR too. It worked out okay, but I'd have a backup plan such as meeting at a certain spot at a particular time, just in case you have no signal.

We've got t-mobile and could rarely get a signal when we were there. not at AKL, VWL or even MCO - got to the point we didn't even bother carrying it with us. We just used our 2-ways

We have not been very please with the coverage and we live in the heart of Silicon Valley.

We will be switching as soon as our contract expires.

We had AT&T the last couple of years and had no problems within the parks or resorts...But...

We switch to T-Mobile this year and it was hit and miss...NO Signal at the BWV and most of the Boardwalk was only a fading 1-2 bars on my phone.

MK was the best park for reception.

We have T-Mobile family share plan. We have great coverage at WDW.

A lot of it may have to do with the actual phone you have. We just upgraded to the color Nokias 5535?? and our overall reception anywhere has increased.

If you have been on your plan at least a year, and are willing to extend for another year, you can get a free phone upgrade. :-)

I hope what you say is right. Our contract is up in December and we also have the family plan. We would love to get a free upgrade on phones.
