That is my thought..however, summer hours and no heat can be neat too. Evening hours can be great!!!

It actually works against my plans since Friday is our travel day and I had planned on Bopping into MK for Wishes at 9pm after coming back from the Hoop de Doo. But, now it might be too late after getting up at 5am! Not to mention crowded beyond belief... I guess we'll have to play it by ear and see how everyone feels after the Hoop. Travel days always seem so LONG...

Is this for the week coming up? ANd just at MK? Do you know why they're doing this? Are they expecting larger than normal crowds? (I was hoping for somewhat of a quiet week).

Just found the answer to my own question...
Magic Kingdom (MK), Park hours- 9am-12am
3pm Share a Dream Come True Parade
9pm and 11pm Spectromagic
10pm Wishes Fireworks

Just FYI, there were some changes the following week as well.

They changed fantasmic times, some days! Which actually worked out better for me!

Just a heads-up...

Last year they switched MK and Epcot EMH for the Wed. and Thurs. of Thanksgiving week. The hours were not nearly that long!!

I'm thinking that once again, one of the webbies over at disneyworld.com goofed. No way in the world Sunday the 21st (nor Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday) will be a midnight closing.
And, TWO Spectros EVERY night that week. Definitely a goof.

Animal Kingdom is open until 8:00 on Monday & Friday, 6:00 on other days. Midnight at MK is surprising, I don't think they even stay open until midnight in the summer anymore. If it's true, they must be expecting huge crowds.

Anyone going that week maybe should call and confirm before changing any plans.
