Hey, so my husband decided today he wants to try for the cp, not for next year but for this fall(I really can't complain ha ha) what I am wondering is what are the system requirements for the wbi and application process? We only have a Mac and ipad(my old computer is basically dead to me, doesn't work). I have heard that there are issues when using a Mac. My friend should be able to let us use her computer if needed :)

I used a Mac (running Safari) and passed my WBI. I had heard last year there might have been an issue, but there wasn't this time around (I just got accepted today!)

I wouldn't recommend the iPad though! Good luck!

Last week I spoke to someone on the phone from the recruiting department and she said that the previous compatibility issues have been resolved. The test now works on any computer/any web browser. Good luck :)

Thanks you guys! To be on the safe side, and since I'm on campus, I'm going to use the school's dell computer. :)

okay so im confused(the new site is so different from when i did my first program!) i applied, and then it said thank you for applying and they would contact me in about 5 days...so when does this wbi come into play? i thought i had to take it before i even got to fill out the application.

It is a bit different this time. You fill out your general application first and submit it, then they'll email you a link to the wbi (unless you've successfully passed one in the past 6 months, then you'll be able to jump straight to the phone interview). It's a lot of unnecessary emails, I think, but that's how it is now. And they schedule your phone interview online now. A year ago you had to call the Disney line and talk to someone to schedule the interview.

thank you :) i guess im just anxious! ha ha! i was going to wait until next year but my husband wanted to do it now(and he always gets his way ha ha) i havent gotten the email yet. any idea how long it usually takes? im not too nervous about passing, as ive taken many before, i just want to get it done with though.

also, i had to schedule my phone interveiw over the phone when i did my first program! im glad they changed it to online.

From what I heard, the reason they have to confirm you for the wbi is so that if you only applied for job positions that are already full they can just deny you instead of making you take the wbi for no reason. It also makes its so that you don't have to worry about the 6 month wait after being denied because you would have never been put in the system.

well, i passed the wbi! it only took me like 20 minutes! i definitely rushed ha ha but i didnt hestitate on my answers. now lets hope the hubby gets to take it(he's filling out the application now) and does well! phone interview is scheduled for monday at 9:45 am!
