Syracuse, NY... Hotel Help

We are thinking of heading to Syracuse to catch a basketball game in November.

Anyone have any nice hotel reccomendations for me?

I'm thinking just for one night, unless it's a really groovy hotel in a really groovy area (read: shopping!) ...then we may be staying for 2 nights.

I'm seeing a few places online, but I'd appreciate suggestions from those of you familiar with the area.

Lisa, next time I see one of my co workers who's from Syracuse, I'll ask her about hotels. She totally roots for Syracuse. We still hear about their winning season!!

I was just doing a bit more searching, and found a Sheraton right by the University..... please ask her about that one for me.
