Synvisc injections

My grandma wanted me to ask this here.

Has anyone ever had a Synvisc injection for osteoarthritis of the knee or do you know anyone who has had it? How did it work? Were you glad you had it?

Hi!

We used to take my Grandmother to get them in her knee when she would complain of severe pain. It really made a world of difference for her! I recommend trying it once and seeing if it works for her. If not, no need to continue. The results seemed to last quite awhile though.

My MIL tried it once with no luck. A good friend of mine tried it a couple of times and really had success with it! Good luck to your grandma!

Thanks! I will tell her! The next thing is trying to get her to go to Disney World. Her excuse is that her legs hurt, but if she get this and it works, then I guess she won't have any excuses. LOL.
