Synthetic Fuels

Anyone else hear the Military is testing new synthetic fuels in their Planes. Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could get away from our dependency on oil from foreign nations who do nothing but insult us and our leaders.

I'm sure it a long way away from an actual reality that we will be using synthetic fuel, but it a hope for the future. That we can rid ourselves of having to deal with these terrorist nations.

Every time I start my car, turn on a light or use energy it irks me to think there goes more money into the hands of dictators and terrorist.

I agree we need to do all we can to reduce our dependency on foreign oil. DH and I own and operate a small long haul trucking company and we use bio-diesel whenever we can get it. An agricultural based product is not only replaceable but helps the American farmer, someone who needs all the help they can get these days.
