Sword in the Stone?

We are going to be at DL this Friday. My DD7 has started talking all about the Sword and the Stone (must have seen something about it on Disney Channel). I see the times listed on the Disneyland calendar. Any tips on how to get your child chosen to participate? TIA.

Get there 15 minutes before and get as close as possible to the area. I am sure this will help. I hope you daughter gets picked.

My oldest daughter got picked a few years ago and we were standing on the right hand side (closest to Peter Pan ride), close to the walkthrough to the sword. She won a really nice medallion to wear around her neck, a scroll signed by Merlin and our whole group got to ride on the carousel with Merlin. It was a great experience, one we will never forget.
