my mom wants one. I told her I would ask for opinions here as to how good it is... well, is it? :)

This is probably the ONLY info-mercial item I know of that actually works!

The restaurant that i work at has one. We use it under tables, and after highchairs are used (you know, the mess)....It picks up everything. From paper, to scrambled eggs. It makes a kind of odd noise when you use it...not a vaccum type noise, but sorta odd...oh, and it really does pick up stuff every way you turn it...swivels well. VERY light

It has a battery pack that you can recharge, which is cool. And emptying it is really easy.

They sell them at stores now, I know I've seen it at Target. If I had carpet in my house, I'd buy one. But I'm not sure what the brushes would do to my hardwood, so I havent' gotten one yet.

Hope that helps!

I have one, and it works pretty good on hardwood. It was great for the bird seed my beloved bird (RIP) would throw on the floor.THe only problem with it is it is pretty strong and can easily sweep up any wires or cables and they'll get stuck. Then you have to take it apart and get them out.

Are they easier to clean? I mean empty?
I saw them for sale at Linen n Things yesterday.

You can also buy them at Target..........and I did............2 in fact! I loved the first one so much I wanted to have a back up in case I couldn't find them again. I love this thing, I have all terrazo floors and they pick up just about everything, in fact I was in Target one day and saw a woman buying a Swiffer thing with all the refills, I told her that the refills usually only picked up enough for one room and they would have to be changed, this swivel sweeper is so much better and more economical in the long run, so she got one of them. They are very easy to clean in fact I have taken mine apart a couple of times and hosed off the brushes and then let it dry, but they just have a little pan that snaps on and off. With 3 litter boxes and 1 bird cage I use it all the time...........the best $35.00 I have spent in a long time!

Good to know. $35 for one? The TV ad has 2 for $40 and it comes with 2 of them ( plus shipping ) maybe we will buy from TV.... they also come with 2 mini sweepers.

And @ www.swivelsweeper.com you can buy extra batteries.

Wow thanks for that link..........I will probably order another one (two) from there and give one away. I love it that much!

Papa Deuce,

I just checked out the add and wanted you to know that it's $40 for two swipers, plus $30 for S/H = $70.

Is it? I thought it was $14.95 shipping per order, not per sweeper, If you are correct I will have her get it at Target. Thanks.

Edit... you are correct. But at least you have a place to buy batteries now. :thumbsup2

No problem. I ordered something online once and didn't realize until I got the charge on my bank account that s/h was double.
