I just got off the phone with my guide after adding on 100 points at VGC! I opted for the Developer Points, because I have an existing reservation at THV that I would like to switch to DPs. I have heard here of people doing this, but my guide mentioned something about cancelling and rebooking 
! He said it would be quick, but I've heard of people losing reservations in that short time frame.
In such a situation, does it make sense to call to do it at an off-peak time? Maybe it doesn't matter, since the DP ressies are done offline anyway, so I have no control of when exactly it's done. If there is a waitlist for my dates, will I automatically lose the reservation if it's cancelled?
