Switching resorts x3

My whole family decided to go to F&W this October, all staying at the Beach Club and didn't bother to mention it or ask my wife and I if we'd like to go, until about 3 months ago. They "didn't think you'd want to go". Umm..hello people! We're total Disney freaks and DVC members and you thought we wouldn't want to go?

Well, we're going and my nieces are so looking forward to us taking them to MNSSHP, my mom and I are looking forward to eating/drinking around the World and my father and I are going Bass Fishing, thanks to the Podcast review!

Now, the problem. Because we booked so late, we have to move resorts a lot!
October 10-13 - OKW

October 13-15 - Beach Club

October 15-17 - OKW

*grumble*

With my whole family being at the Beach Club, that's of course where we really want to stay. We're on a wait list for both a studio and a 1-bedroom, but so far nothing. Given how popular that resort is, especially at F&W time, I'm afraid that our chances are pretty slim of being able to just stay at Beach Club the whole time.

Anyone else done this many resort switches before? How much of a pain is it?
We weren't going to rent a car, but I think we may, just to make it easier to get to the Beach Club from OKW.

Ooohhh..I hope that wait list comes through!

I have only resort switched once and I was too young to know how much of a pain it was! But I do know you have two great resorts and even though you might have extra hassle you'll enjoy both resorts.

the only real hassle I see is if you are the type of person who likes to "move in" to their hotel room. other than that will you have a car because it won't take long to transfer over hotels if you control your transportation!
