I am coming to stay for a couple days at Movies Resort. I have to switch to Sports for my last night. I am hoping another room opens up at Movies for me, but am prepared to move. Should I bring my bags to the bag check and have them move them, or get up super early and walk them over myself to Sports and have them hold them there while I hit the parks? Not sure what my best option is. Any suggestions?

I would suggest it will depend on how many bags, how long is the walk, and how soon you need to access the bags.
we recently moved from Rivieria to CBR (a two minute walk) but we had too many bags to walk them all, especially when our room wasn’t ready yet. We asked for them To be moved, but we’re told it was possible we might not get them until 5pm (we asked at 10am to move them) - which was going to be an issue as we were going to after hours event a bit early.
also might depend how early you need to be at park, if say going to DHS, then you need to be there very early.
the more people that assist with bags the more people you have to tip as well.

If you have enough people in your party, I would move them yourselves. Easier to know, they are waiting for you, if you need them. Then you need them and you wind up waiting for them. Or worse, having to walk back to Movies to grab them when you need them and don't want to wait. Then getting at Movies and find luggage is "on its way".

Thanx for the info. Good thing is it is just me and I only have two bags. I will be at the parks all day and wont be back to the resort until late. The only problem is I wont be checking in online so I will have to do it once I am back at the resort. Im guessing my bags will still be at bag check then. Im thinking I might just walk over and do it myself after all.

You all have convinced me to do it myself. I am a morning person anyway so it's no problem to be up early for me. I am planning to be at AK for rope drop that day so I will get up early, check out of Movies, walk everything over to Sports, see if they have a room early or if not leave my bags with them, and head out to AK from there. Thanx for all the advice!!
