We are currently booked at POP for our trip in December with FD. I'm working on persuading DH to upgrade to a moderate instead. If he decides AFTER the booking date passes for the current FD promotion, are we still able to switch resorts and keep our FD? Or am I stuck once that date comes and goes? :confused3Thanks!

I believe that many have had success upgrading a reservation and still getting the discount. I think that as long as what you are doing is modifying the reservation and not rebooking it, you should be fine (providing there is availability).

I have never done it so someone with more experience can chime in as I am going by what I have read here on the boards in the past.

Yes you can make the change, providing there is availability at the desired resort. The first CMs you get at CRO will likely not find the availability once the date has passed. Well, that's because they're no longer in the regular system. You need to ask for I believe it's Guest Relations but I could be wrong about the department (I love my TA for handling this stuff for me).

Yes, I have switched resorts after the FD promo ended. When you call CRO they will take your info for modification, put you on hold, and contact Guest Services themselves (I have never been patched through to GS). From that point GS will let the CM know if the FD resort/room is available for your dates.
