We currently have a 2 bedroom and a studio booked at AKV that I booked at the 7 month mark, as we don't own at AKV.
The 2 bedroom was booked first (online) using HH and VB points from 2017 (current use year) and some borrowed 2018 points. The studio was booked second (call to MS) to borrow the rest of the 2018 points and buy some one-time use points.
My question is, if for some reason some of my family can't go and we don't need the studio, will MS be able to reallocate the points so that the studio uses the current use year points, which I could then bank if I need to cancel? In other words, can they switch it so that the 2 bedroom used the one-time use points, the 2018 borrowed points and some of the current use year points? The studio used less than our 2017 amount of points.
If MS can't do this, okay. If they can, should I call as soon as possible to reallocate, just in case of need to cancel?
ETA - there is not availability for either of my reservations at this time, so MS couldn't cancel and re-book if that is somehow the solution.
Thanks!
