Switching point allocation of current reservation

Hi -

I currently have a July 2022 reservation booked with banked points from 2021 as well as 2022 points.

I am closing on a resale contract shortly, which has points banked from 2021 as well.

Ideally I want to use these additional banked points from 2021 on my current July reservation instead of the 2022 points that are currently being used.

Wanted to check if it was possible to change which points are allocated to this reservation without cancelling and rebooking the reservation?If so, just go through member services?

Both contracts are June use years.

Was the original booking used with home resort priority, and if so, is the new contract also that home resort?

You can reallocate points by editing the reservation. If home priority was used to book it, you won’t be able to unselect the existing contracts, but you should be able to add the new one. There’s a priority order to which points are used first, so it should grab all the banked points first before using current UY points. If the new one is not the same home resort, you’d need to make some kind of modification, like adding a night, to reallocate, but once you do you should be able to edit again to drop the night and be all set.
